Some of the highlights of your tours "Beyond Noosa"
|

Noosa itself is stunning. There is just something about the place that is so special. We at "Beyond Noosa" love it so we take a little time to let you savour the town and the waterfront before we set out to find another world.
The world "Beyond Noosa" is tranquil for a while, with the lazy river snaking through to the lakes and into the everglades. Then it becomes enthralling as the long golden beaches stretch far into forever while the rocky headlands, high forested dunes and dramatic coloured sand cliffs front mighty seas. This is The Great Sandy National Park - The largest sand mass in the world and you are right here.

Behind the tranquillity of the beautiful waterways hides the bustling town of Tewantin. First settled in 1860, it is now a major shopping centre that boasts the well known Royal Mail Hotel. |

Legend has it that a beautiful black maiden fell in love with a rainbow.
A very bad man stole the maiden for his wife and when she ran away he sent a wicked boomerang off to kill her.
The fabulous rainbow and the wicked boomerang fought with the power of thunder over the maiden.
The boomerang was destroyed but the rainbow lay shattered on the beach where it lies till today.
The coloured sands of Noosa are that rainbow and when you do get to see them you can't help but believe at least a little of the legend!
